Lately there has been noticed an increase of the demand for industrial products in a large color range.

As a response to the demands of the market Policolor Industrial Coatings, a division of Policolor with tradition in creating products destined to industrial coatings, launched a new, automated, tinting system.

This automated machine is destined to industrial paints tinting.

Now, our clients can choose any shade in the RAL colour chart. With the new economical tinting system from Policolor, various types of industrial enamels can be tinted on the spot into any RAL colour by dosing the universal colourants and mixing them into a white or transparent base.

The advantages of the computer-aided tinting system are:

• Obtaining the desired color on the spot
• Optimizing the manufacturing process by involving a smaller number of personnel and increasing the productivity
• Smaller storage areas due to the reduction of the number of raw materials/semi-finished (as only bases and pigmented preparations are necessary)
• Reproducibility of the shade and film characteristics, aspects that are more difficult to get with the traditional technologies.

The products that will be subject to computer-aided tinting are:

• Enamels for anticorrosive protection in aggressive chemical environments:
  • Epoxy enamels in Repoxamin E 3100 range
  • Chlorinated rubber enamels E9102
• Enamels for anticorrosive protection in high humidity environments:
  • Alkyd enamels in Emaur E5001 range
  • Alkyd-acrylic enamels E5620
  • Acryl-polyurethane enamels in Acrodur E4310 range

Repoxamin E3100, Emaur E5001 and Enamel E5620 are developed in compliance with HG 735 on VOC emissions.
